Clinical Reflexology for health & well-being
In the comfort of your own home.
Reflexology is an established, holistic treatment which uses massage and gentlr pressure to stimulate various reflex points on your feet, which correspond to specific areas of your body.
About Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle, ancient art; a fascinating science and an extremely effective form of therapeutic foot massage that has carved an impressive niche in the area of complementary medicine.
Research has documented its effectiveness.
By choosing to use reflexology, you take a step towards a fitter and healthier you.

What happens during a reflexology treatment?
It is just your feet that are being worked upon.
You remain fully clothed, just removing shoes and socks.
Treatment is best received if you are able to relax on a reclining chair or put your feet up on a footstool.

Benefits may include:
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Pain relief (release of endorphins)
- A natural boost to the immune system
- Removal of toxins and impurities
- Aids the digestive and respiratory systems
- Improved circulation
- A feeling of deep relaxation and improved sleep
How long does a treatment take?
The first appointment lasts about an hour and includes taking a thorough medical history.
Following treatments would last approximately 35 to 45 minutes depending othe treatment required.
A course of treatments is recommended for all conditions, even if one treatment appears to have resolved the problem.
Generally results are apparent after three or four treatments.
A one-off treatment won't correct problems that have been developing over several years.
After your treatment
To gain maximum benefit from your reflexology treatment, try to rest afterwards. This helps your body's natural healing process.
Drink plenty of water to help your body eliminate toxins.

Reflexology and Stress
Stress is probably one of the most commonly used words in today's society.
It is believed that up to 80% of modern diseases a stress-related background.
These include: hypertension, high blood pressure, coronary thrombosis, heart attack, ME, long covid, migraine, allergies, hay fever, peptic ulcers, constipation, colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, menstrual and menopausal problems, nervous dyspepsia, flatulence and indigestion, diabetes mellitus, skin disorders and depression.
Long term stress can lead to a depleted immune system,
lowered resistance and increased susceptibility to diseases.
Reflexology reduces stress and tension by generating deep tranquil relaxation, helping the body to balance itself.
Reflexology and Pain Control
A number of changes may occur in the body during treatment. One change deals with the sedation of pain. The body produces its own pain killers, called endorphins, via the pituitary gland. The application of reflexology encourages the brain to produce more endorphins.
Reflexology and Palliative Care
In cases of serious illness such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and AIDS, reflexology cannot remove the cause of the disease but, instead, can make the patient more comfortable and relaxed.
